"Raptor Island IN SPACE"

Films: Planet Raptor (2007)

Alias: Raptors, Albertosaurus

Type: Alien

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: Ranges from that of average humans to twice that of an elephant.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: So, your story of inexplicable primeval bird relatives didn't pan out so well. But what if...you were to take the exact same premise, with even some of the exact same footage, also some footage from other films...and put it in SPACE?! Yeah, that'll show them!

History: Based on certain plot elements, we’re willing to believe that this is indeed a sequel to "Alien Apocalypse"! We know this because the very same Termite Aliens are shown to inhabit this alien world. At some point, based on what we're seeing, they stopped invading Earth, and went back to pursue genetic experimentation. They made raptors (and Abertosauruses), which resulted in at least an alien village getting massacred and devoid of them. Now, only raptors rule the place. And a team of intergalactic human soldiers are about to find that they don't take kindly to intruders...

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Many dinos are gunned down and killed, but in the end, the soldiers manage to escape the planet...somehow....and hopefully never come there again.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2-As if this film wasn't bad enough with its shoddy CGI, the raptors are an unholy mishmash of both the bad computer imagery, props that look straight out of "Carnosaur", and goddamn stock footage from "Raptor Island". It's...kind of a mess.

Trivia: -The largest prehistoric raptor species is Utahraptor ostrommaysi, which was said to have grown larger than even THESE raptors, and replaced Allosaurus as Utah's state dinosaur.

-We just REALLY need to reinstate how the Abertosaurus is literally just both stock footage of the last film and a raptor ballooned in size considerably.
